After so many of you have requested it, we finally
have a site up and running!
Here you will find links to lots of fun karaoke related
things, as well as a constantly updated list of karaoke venues and performances. If there is a contest anywhere, you will
see it listed on the calendar page.
For those who have song requests, check out the Contact
Us page. We have a spot where you can submit your requests.
This
is the first site we have done, so I expect that we will be tweaking it, and adding to it for awhile. Please feel free to
send us your comments, support and suggestions.
In the very near future, we will be adding a photo
gallery. Those of you, who are regulars, can expect to see yourself highlighted there eventually! Good thing none of
you are shy!!
We look

with over 30,000 songs ranging from the Big Band Era to the current hits of today.
Our Karaoke library currently has over 6.000
songs, and keeps growing!
Our sound systems are nothing less than
professional. Depending on the size of your hall and your function, we will provide
an appropriate sound system for all of your music and announcements.
We also offer a full light show,
if you want to make your event Extra Special!

What is Karaoke?
'Karaoke' means 'Empty Orchestra'
and the participant sings along to an instrumental version of a song while singing the words shown on a television screen.
Karaoke is for fun, and while
there are very good singers at karaoke shows, you do not need to be able to sing well to participate. You can hire or find
karaoke at many functions today. Karaoke is found in bars, lounges, kids parties, restaurants, birthday parties, Christmas
parties, New Years parties, and weddings.
 What does Karaoke mean?
Karaoke (カラオケ)
is Japanese for Empty Orchestra. Kara
means empty, like in Karate (empty hand). Oke
is short for Okesutora (オケストラ), which
is the Japanese romanization of Orchestra.
Where and when was Karaoke invented?
Karaoke was born in a snack bar in Kobe City, Japan
over 20 years ago. It is said that when a strolling guitarist could not come to perform at the bar due to illness or
other reasons, the owner of the bar prepared tapes of accompaniment recordings, and vocalists enjoyed singing to the tapes.
Even though it is only legend, this might have been the beginning of karaoke, and since then, karaoke has been commercialized
and has become popular all over Japan and the rest of the world.
